Homeschool Preschool Idea- Lapbook

As many of you may have noticed, I haven't been posting as much here, but check out what I've been up to!  Homeschool preschool!  Yesterday we went on a field trip to Busiek Park and then made a labbook about it today.  Why post this here?  There are SO many free/cheap ways to not only spend time with your children, but teach them new things!  I have been using some amazing blogs out there like Confessions of a Homeschooler, Totally Tots, Homeschool Creations,  and tons more!  I just wanted to share these resources with you (Email me and I'll sent you more if you're interested!) and show you all what I've been up to.  I have finally found that balance.... blogging great deals when I can and doing coupon  match ups for Dillons weekly, but my heart is with my children, and I love taking advantage of these precious days together, learning and just having fun!  Here's the lapbook we made today from our field trip:

So what are lapbooks?  Activities children can put in their lap and do!  Aside from printing mini pictures, this was practically free and super fun to make with my son.  It keeps as a great memory and learning tool for review.  If your interested in lapbooks, just Google it!  There are tons of examples on the web.   This was my first one to make and HERE are some more examples.  Enjoy your little ones!  They are only this age once!  :)
