Fun and thrifty idea to do at home with your little ones...

My friend, Jen, inspired me with her yellow day to have a blue/letter B day.  There are so many frugal and fun things to do at home with your little ones.  Kyler and I had the best time together!  We came up with all kinds of fun ideas:
  • blew bubbles
  • bounced a ball
  • ate blue Mac n Cheese (food coloring)
  • scavenger hunt- found blue/B things around the house and put a blue sticky note on them
  • talked about being brave
  • worked on being a big boy by going potty all day and getting blue M&Ms
  • played memory with the uppercase and lowercase Bs
  • sang opposite song with big/little
  • thought of B words
  • cut out a B with blue construction paper
  • painted blue Bs
  • drew Bs in the dirt with sticks
  • ate bananas
  • painted on blue paper with shades of blue
  • wore blue jeans
  • talked about feeling blue
  • played with boats in the sink
  • read books
  • rode bikes
  • laid on a blue blanket and looked at the beautiful blue sky
  • took a bubble bath
  • talked about being a good big brother
  • looked for bugs
  • watched "Bolt"
  • jumped on the bed
  • built towers with blocks
  • typed as Kyler wrote "The Best Day Ever"
The Best Day Ever-by Kyler
"The best day ever is playing the park and doing "b" stuff and cleaning up and doing cards together.  It would be doing all kinds of things like writing a story.  The best things to do are playing outside, driving rocket ships, playing train track, playing books, playing games, playing video games, going to Toys R us, Jumpmania, and riding fast cards at Incredible Pizza.  Amen, that's the end of this story."
I love spending this time with with my baby and treasure every memory close to my heart! Get creative and have your own special day!
