One of My Receipts:

I bought 20 coupons off eBay for $4 and after doing all my math, I'll be getting 20 bottles of Purex for  $.29 each!  I heart stockpiling!

  1. I got a bunch of $1 Purex coupons from RecycleBank, so I went in today to get my laundry soap. I bought the first two along with some other Daytona stuff, used two $1 coupons, and got back my $4 cat. Then I turned right around and tried to buy two at a time. It wouldn't let me use two $1 coupons again, as my total before tax was only 5.98 ($4 cat, $1 coupon, .98 left). Still, .49 a bottle is AWESOME! I have 5 of the $1 coupons left, so if I have time I will go back and try adding a filler item to see if I can use both $1 in each transaction. I have a stockpile for MONTHS already! And I only paid a few dollars total.

  3. Will this work on the Purex Free and Clear? That's the only kind we can use.

  4. I did this deal once yesterday and it worked great, but then I tried it again today and I didn't get my catalina! I got 2 bottles of Purex Natural elements. How do I make sure this doesn't happen again?! Thanks

  5. Jana- I wish it worked on the Free and Clear. That is what I use on the boys' clothes. Sorry, no luck there!

  6. I read on several message boards today that the catlina was ending today at several stores. =( I posted it on a more recent post on the BOGO coupon, but should have put it here too!

    Check out my post HERE:

  7. The word out here at Fred Meyer (another Kroger co. store) is that someone - they are saying it was a "Ma and Pa" convienence store operation, got around 800 bottles of Purex for free by rolling the cat, thus, Purex pulled it. It's a bummer :(

  8. Leah- What a bummer! It's too bad that they had to ruin the deal for the rest of us! Wonder how they found out... Thanks for filling us in. :(

By the way, I tried to leave a comment on your Leah and Michele's Recipe blog and it wouldn't let me. The word verification box was all cut off. Might just be my computer though! Anyway, I can totally relate. My stockpile of hamburger helper has barely moved! =)
