Back to School Tax Free Weekend

Missouri's tax free weekend is August 7 – 9 and included the following items:

• Clothing: clothes up to $100 per item (excludes accessories)
• Supplies: school supplies up to $50 per item
• Computers: software worth up to $350, computers and accessories worth up to $3,500
• BUT Local taxes may still apply

Missouri's sales tax rate for most items is 4.225 percent. So if you spend $100, you save $4.22. If you spend $10, you save $0.42. Good deal if it's on things you were already going to buy or need!
